r.i.p. 50mm f/1.8

today, we broke my favorite lens, which is the 50mm f/1.8.... i predicted it too but yeah..... we were about to go out to the world, have a pizza picnic at a park and have some refreshing drinks... and chuy put the camera all unprotected in my backpack... and i protested but didnt do anything about it, so yeah.... we arrived at the pizza cart, and it was dead.... poor thing, it died of neglect.... so now, we bought a small camera bag for when we only want to carry the camera and not all the other lenses and so forth (cause we have a camera backpack for that), and we had to replace the 50mm, so we upgraded to f/1.4, so that's exciting....this, of course, was done after hours and hours of deciding which camera bag was just the right size and didnt look like a camera bag... and which lens to buy..... and when i say hours and hours, i mean hours and hours.... at least 5... but it is done... new camera bag and lens ordered... and now i have a broken lens i can use for my camera lamp project.... so it was an expensive day, but oh well, you live and learn... and im excited for the new lens, hoping the camera bag will work, and happy to continue working on my lamp project
