lo there do i see my brother

yesterday we went to a show of a localish band from tacoma, wa....chuy found out about them because of paco and usually, i dont really like paco's bands....but this is pretty awesome...they sound to me like a mix of sigur ros, dredg...but a little bit heavier at times....so it's pretty awesome to me....the show itself was pretty good and for the first time ever i saw an spoken word artist....when he first started, i was almost laughing cause it was too intense, like he was yelling and jumping and stuff with what he was saying and it took me by surprise....then, i was just pretty uncomfortable because it was powerful words, plus powerful deliverance....and then i just went with it and it was awesome...apparently, i could have been hanging out with the bohemian crowd quite easily because i really enjoyed it....the place was pretty cool too, it was a coffee shop/cafe/bar/artist gallery/live music venue....so it was pretty cool, if i lived downtown, that could easily be the hangout place (if i had friends here hahah)....and today we stuffed our face....we went out to eat brunch because we had a gift card (chuy's friend that's super nice, v, sent it to us) from a semi fancy vegan restaurant, blossoming lotus, that makes awesome sunday brunches.....and it was indeed awesome (migas, biscuits & gravy, breakfast sandwich & potatoes, grits, cinnamon roll, bloody mary and juice), but afterward, it was definitely necessary to not move, preferably sleep...we had plan to go to the library and go grocery shopping....and we could barely bike back to the house and collapse on the bed...thankfully my parents make awesome skype sitters for sophie hahha that was 7 hours ago and im still full.....manchamos!
