interview

today i spent half the day going and coming back from an interview... i went to this interview and it's in a neighboring city, hillsboro, or the greater metropolitan area of portland.... it took me about 1 hour and 50 minutes each way.... 35 minutes of buses and 45 minutes of the metro, plus waiting time... now i dont really mind this, i really enjoy travel by metro/subway/train so that goes fast.... and the bus, well it's a bus.... but it takes so long! so if i get the job, that's gonna be my commute... and to be honest most jobs are in hillsboro or beaverton, thats where the big tech companies are..... beaverton is closer though....

anyway, i have decided that if i get a job in those cities, i will bike to the metro station and hang my bike in the metro (they have bike hanging hooks) and bike to the workplace... that way, at least i get some exercise and the metro part is very enjoyable to me anyway... so it's all full of win (except for the time it takes from my day)...

either way, i dont think i will get the job hahah i mean i did well, i felt comfortable and i wasnt stumped or anything... but it seemed to me they wanted someone with professional wireless experience.... so unless they cant find that person.... it's not happening.... my hopes are not up.... it's all good

  2. Well, you feel good about it, so if you don't get it, it was out of your control. Let's hope you do get it!
