It's portland's slogan... even though it's austin's too... i think it's every cool, liberal place slogan...
When we went to the vegan mini mall (weird) we heard live music like a block down. We were curious so we walked to see what was happening. It was infested with bikes (weird). It was called bikepalooza or something like that, and it was like a punk bike festival (weird). And this is where it starts getting weird(er), there was a championship going on of people in double-deck bikes (weird) jousting (weird). This is one example of portland's weirdness... I like portland's aceptance of weirdos. After all, I am consider a weirdo for being vegan or atheist or a tree hugger or whatever label you want to throw at me.
Random Portland Fact #3: Portland has the smallest park in the world, Mill Ends, it's 2 feet across.

ReplyDeleteYeah, that bike jousting was interesting...all while a 2 piece heavy metal band plays background music! haha and we have to go see this park! 2 feet?! And yeah, it is pretty weird. But who wants normal?
