It has been a while since I had watched a full game (excluding the time I went to see a game here in Colchester). Today, I kinda watched two. The only way I can truly enjoy watching a match is if I am rooting for someone, I don't do casual watching, I need to be into it. My team since always is Toluca, but I haven't followed the Mexican league since I came here for obvious reasons. I am kinda glad because they sucked this season. The first game we watched was the Champions League final of Barcelona vs Manchester United. I was rooting for Manchester United and they lost 3 to 1. But what a contrast of the game quality between the Mexican league and that game! Seriously. Almost no fouls, basically constant, good gameplay. I was amazed haha. Then, we started watching the Mexico game versus Ecuador and I was back to reality with mediocre gameplay. Oh well.
Yeah, mind blowing differences between the 2 games. But we watched 2 of the best teams in the world(and some say, ever) play for the most prestigious title at the club level. And then a friendly game, between mexico and ecuador...not really a fair comparison.
