the esplanade (w/pics)

we didn't do much today, we were recuperating from yesterday's trek... but we did go to the esplanade and took some pics...we got there when the sun was about to go down and stayed until dark...here's some of the pics at different points of the trail:

As the sun was going down, this is the hawthorne bridge...

This is the floating trail that I was talking about the last time, the longest floating path in the US!  You can see the steel bridge in the background....

This is as it was getting darker, from the steel bridge looking back...

I just thought this bridge looked cool at night, so I took a pic...after it got this dark, Chuy pretty much took all the pics because he loves night photography and I am still learning about it....

After we got back from the esplanade, we messed with pictures for the rest of the night.
