first computer

My mom tends to keep stuff forever, basically.  My parents have been living in the same house for 17 years, and they had not used the dish washer that came with the house.  Knowing my mom's refusal to throw away anything, I asked her where the manual for the dish washer was, and she lead me to a big drawer full of manuals.  I found manuals for every single piece of electronic equipment ever bought in the 17 years here, and even some older ones.  Having a bit of minimalist in me, I cannot stand to see crap that nobody uses around, so I gathered all the manuals of the electronics we don't even have anymore and recycled them.  Among those manuals, I found the manual and specs of my first computer.

It was bought June 21, 1997...when I was 12 years old.  It was a Packard Bell with the following specs:
Processor: Pentium
Speed: 133 MHz
RAM: 16 MB
Video Memory: 2 MB
Cache: 256 KB
Hard drive: 1622.6 MB
1.44 MB, 3 1/2 inch floppy disk drive
CD ROM drive, 8x

you may laugh now...
