glasses

and broken monitors.

Today was a roller coaster type day.  I couldn't wake up and did things so slowly I might as well had slept another hour.  By the time I got out, I went to pick up my new glasses.  I got new glasses because since I was hit by a car and my glasses landed on the pavement, they have been peeling off.  It's not even scratches...I don't know what's up with that.  Plus, Chuy has stepped on them multiple times making them crooked for life.  When I went to get them, I got an exam done, and I was told I am not suitable for contacts.  I didn't want contacts but it would be nice to have a choice...damn...let this be a lesson for all (the four of you that read this), always, ALWAYS take off your contacts at night.  Well, today, the glasses were ready, I also got a free pair of prescribed sunglasses.  So the glasses part of the day was awesome, finally I can walk to school without frowning (5% improvement visibility) and my vision is totally clear without any weird peelings in my way (another 5% improvement).

Old peeling glasses.  I liked them a lot.  I'm gonna miss them.
New glasses, peelings free! (Yes, they are plastic and no I have not turned emo!...they were cheaper haha)
Prescription sunglasses...(there were not many sunglasses to pick from...but oh well, they were free...)

But then I get to school, and the robotics lab is closed and with no one willing to open it.  Ugh.  So I check back in an hour or so and yeah...it's opened.  I make great advancement on the vision part of my project (yay!) and go home.  I get home and find out that the laptop's monitor has stopped working.  That makes two out of two laptops that I have that have non functioning monitors.  Yes, I am an embedded systems student and I have no freaking fully functioning computer.  Ugh.  But then the pizza we ate was delicious.  Yum.  Then my vision program refuses to run on this laptop (that I have hooked up to an external monitor).  UGH.

This is how I am forced to use either laptop until I convince myself that I need a new laptop....

Roller coaster, I am telling you.

  4. Well, you leave the glasses in the middle of the floor, that you need to walk in to get to the bathroom. So in the dark, well...they get stepped on! And yeah, I am hoping I can still wear contacts! We'll see tomorrow! Brain Reagan ownz!

    And I like your glasses!

  5. You're like Diego, leaving your glasses everywhere, they are bound to get stepped on, haha. And yeah, I would've already hung myself if I had two laptops with no working monitor...or just buy a new one, not sure :P
